I am having surgery for Lumbar Spinal Stenosis (L-5 region) in about three weeks, I live alone and live on a 3rd floor walk-up, after the surgery about how long will I be able to perform normal activities (go up and down stairs) and be able to go back to work? Also I am in incredible pain when walking and standing, will this usually be corrected after surgery? Any help will be appreciated, thanks.
