Has anyone been approved for ssi that has spinal stenosis? I read on the ssa website a list of disabilities that are considererd so severe that they are basicaly approved and spinal stenosis with leg pain is on it. I was just wandering if anyone has been through the process before and could tell me what to expect as far as how long it takes to get approved and to get a check. Any help will be greatly appraciated. Thank you

I had my low back x-rayed, the doc said I have narrowing discs, then she wanted me to get a MRI, so I did, I am still waiting on results but the MRI dude told me it looked like lumbar spinal stenosis. Does this require surgery? Thanks
